Saturday Chemistry Club Members 2012-2014



Rob Ackers (Droylsden Academy) and Jess Cowley (Salford City College) were Saturday morning  attendees from December 2012 until September 2014. After successful A-level grades, Jess is now embarking on an undergraduate programme of Biochemistry at Sheffield University, with Rob heading towards Hull University for Chemistry. Good luck to both of them!

Daniel Murray (Liverpool Community College) studied BTEC Science and joined the club in February 2013 and progressed onto Salford's Foundation Year Biology Programme (September 13) and is now entering 1st Year Biochemistry at Salford in September 2014.

Thomas Waite (Turton Sixth Form College) gained A* in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics in the summer of 2014. Thomas attended the club from December 2012 to July 2014 and is now studying Physics at Imperial College London.

Aersey Noor Khan joined in November 2013 from Manchester College in Harpurhey from BTEC studies and is now on Salford's  Biomedical Programme (2015- ) after completing a Foundation Year Biology Programme (2014-15).

Niall Deeks joined in March 14 from Rochdale Sixth Form College from A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and is now a 1st year student on Salford's Medicinal Chemistry Programme (2015 - ). Niall also spent time at Salford in the summer of 2014 completing his Nuffiled A-level Project in my laboratory.
